According to the complaint filed by Ravinder Kumar, son of the victim Kalawati, aged 72, the incident occurred on Wednesday, May 20, at approximately 2:30 PM. Kalawati runs a small grocery shop from the ground floor of her residence and has been supporting her household through the income generated from the business.
On the day of the incident, two unidentified individuals arrived at the shop on a motorcycle without a number plate. One of the accused remained seated on the motorcycle with the engine running, while the other entered the shop under the pretext of buying a water bottle and cigarettes.
